Grace and Peace to You
"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to the official online home of the South Andhra Lutheran Church. As we stand on over 160 years of mission heritage, we remain committed to growing in Christ, serving all, and reaching the world."
The journey of SALC is a remarkable testimony to the transformative power of the Gospel. From the early seeds sown by the Hermannsburg Mission Society to our thriving modern congregations across eight zones, God has continually equipped us to be a beacon of light in Andhra Pradesh.
"Our calling is not merely to maintain the institution, but to actively participate in God's ongoing mission—bringing spiritual renewal, sound theological education, and compassionate social service to every community we touch."

Our legislative authority rests in our Regular Conventions, having held 72 to date. Between conventions, the Executive Board—led by the Bishop-President—manages the ongoing ministries. Geographically, we are organized into 8 Zones, allowing for specialized pastoral care and focused local outreach across Andhra Pradesh.
